Lamma currently focuses on adults 40+ in Egypt. This page sets out Lamma’s standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Zero tolerance for CSAE
Lamma prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers or facilitates the exploitation of children. This material and conduct are not allowed on Lamma.
How to report and block
Members can report in the app:
- A person, from the member’s profile or card.
- An activity or listing, using “Report this listing”.
- A Circle, using “Report this Circle”.
- A message, by long-pressing it and choosing “Report this message”.
Members can also block another member.
Human review and enforcement
Reports are reviewed by a person on the Lamma team. Reports are checked at least twice a day.
Depending on the situation, Lamma may take appropriate actions such as:
- Hiding content.
- Pausing content or access.
- Suspending an account.
- Closing an account.
- Taking content down.
Cooperation with authorities
We cooperate with law enforcement. Where the law requires it, we report child sexual abuse material and child sexual exploitation to the relevant authorities.

If there is immediate danger in Egypt, contact the police on 122. Lamma is not an emergency service.
